According to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), any shortlisted applicant without “O” Level scores would not be cleared. Therefore, it is advisable that all candidates deposit their “O” Level results (WAEC, NECO, etc.) on the Central Admission Processing System by going to the nearest JAMB Office or Accredited CBT Center (CAPS). The PDF attachment contains the cut-off markings.

Be aware that providing fake information will disqualify you. A maximum of two separate “O” Level exam scores may be submitted.

B. SCREENING:

An aptitude test should be used to assess applicants who submitted for admission to Bayero University, Kano in the 2022/2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination administered by Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (UTME). It is advisable for candidates to obtain the Post-UTME previous Questions and Answers for BUK. This will enable them to appropriately prepare for the activity.

Candidates for the UTME are required to have Bayero University as their first choice and to have achieved the minimum required score for the various faculties and programs listed below:

HOW IT IS APPLIED?

Step 1: Login – Click on 2022 UTME ONLINE SCREENING EXERCISE on the Bayero University website’s home page, www.buk.edu.ng.

UTME candidates can login using their UTME Registration Number as their username and their UTME aggregate score as their password in

Step 2: Profile Update.

You should next complete the given form, keeping in mind that the JAMB photograph will serve as the only acceptable form of identification for all admitted candidates during their time at Bayero University, Kano.

Step 3: Create your Personalized Payment Invoice (BUK PPI) and download it (PPI).

The invoice will include a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) and include a N2,000.00 screening fee. Applicants can choose to pay online with a credit or debit card, using internet banking, or by printing the invoice and paying at any commercial bank in the country with it.

It should be noted that an acceptance slip can be quickly generated and printed following a successful online payment. Before the acknowledgement card can be printed in the case of a bank payment, the candidate must process the payment via the “check your payment” button on the website.

REGISTRATION CLOSURE DATE

Beginning on Monday, November 14, 2022, and ending on December 31, 2022, respectively, is the online registration period. However, the production of acknowledgement slips will continue through Sunday, January 8, 2023, at midnight.

Be aware that the phone number and/or email address you provided during JAMB registration, along with the date, location, and time of the BUK Aptitude Test, will be used to contact you.

Note that applicants who are blind or foreign nationals are not required to take the aptitude exam. They must complete the online registration, though.

Write to the email listed on the site if you have any questions or are having trouble.

A candidate won’t be taken into consideration if they don’t register for the screening exercise before the scheduled day.
