Ahmed Ololade Asake, better known as Asake, was born in Lagos on January 13, 1995. His Muslim parents are from the South-Western region of Nigeria. His mother is a teacher, and his father is a businessman with a base in Lagos. became 27 years in 2022.

Asake Career

Asake began his professional dancing career as a cultural dance specialist while still a student in high school. He also played the drums in the musical band at his high school.

He began performing professionally as a musician in 2015, backing up renowned comedian and skit creator Broda Shaggi. They collaborated in 2019 to create the masterpiece “Star,” but they only became well-known in 2022 when the Blaque Beats-produced song “Lady” was released and reshared by Tunde Ednut, Broda Shaggi, and Sydney Talker.

In February 2022, Asake released his debut EP, “Ololade.” His breakout hit, “Omo Ope,” with Olamide and “Sungba,” was featured on the self-titled album. Burna Boy, a renowned Nigerian musician, later remixed the song.

The YBNL Nation act signs a distribution agreement with Empire in July 2022. On Thursday, September 8, 2022, he released his debut album, “Mr. Money With The Vibe,” as a follow-up.

Hit singles including “Terminator,” “Peace Be Unto You,” and “Sungba Remix” with Burna Boy are among the 12 tracks on the album. Positive feedback and remarks from fans in Nigeria and around the world have been received by the chart-topping project, which has also broken multiple records.
