Hadid distinctly remembers their initial meeting, during which Jonas inquired if she would like to accompany him to a Dodgers game. However, she declined his invitation. In 2015, Gigi Hadid recounted the following: "We crossed paths at the Grammys when I was only 13, and he invited me to a baseball game, but I declined. I was extremely nervous and had no understanding of what it meant to hang out with a boy. Additionally, I didn't want to mention that I had school the next day since the Grammys typically take place on Sundays."
Subsequently, Jonas and Hadid entered a romantic relationship when she reached the age of 20, but their time together was short-lived, and the celebrity couple eventually went their separate ways.
