Online images have surfaced revealing photographs from Kanye West's recent birthday festivities, which featured the peculiar presentation of sushi on scantily clad women.
Ye, the 45-year-old rapper who now goes by this name, has had his fair share of controversial incidents. Last year, he faced a downfall when he shared statements on his social media and in interviews that were considered antisemitic.
On June 8, Ye celebrated his 46th birthday in Los Angeles with an extravagant party attended by his wife, Bianca Censori, his daughter North West, and notable guests like singers Chloe Bailey and Ty Dolla Sign. Images and footage from the party have surfaced on social media and revealed Ye and guests partaking in the Japanese practice of Nyotaimori - also known as eating sushi off the body of a naked woman.

According to Cosmopolitan, Nyotaimori, a Japanese tradition that originated in Geisha houses, particularly in Ishikawa prefecture, was initially intended as a special treat for Samurai warriors returning from battle.
In this practice, sushi is usually placed on sanitized leaves placed on the model's body to prevent direct contact between the food and the skin. The woman involved is then expected to remain motionless for extended periods of time until all the sushi is removed from her body.
A video from Kanye West's birthday celebration showcased a partially nude woman lying immobile on a table while trays of sushi were served, covering her modesty. The room was dimly lit with candles, and Ye's song 'Come to Life' played in the background.
After the images and videos circulated, numerous astonished individuals expressed their opinions regarding West's inclusion of this practice, which is widely viewed as demeaning and sexist, at his birthday party.
One disheartened commenter pointed out, "And he brought his 9-year-old daughter to this party," while another wrote, "This is incredibly dehumanizing and disgustingly repulsive."

Following the Season 3 premiere of The Kardashians, where Kim Kardashian made a revelation, Kanye West's birthday celebrations took place. Kim expressed that her ex-husband's outbursts over the past year have had a more detrimental impact on their children than her infamous sex tape ever will.
In a conversation with her mother, Kris Jenner, the 42-year-old founder of SKIMS discussed the extent to which Ye publicly humiliated her, including leaking her text messages and making comments about her past sex tape with her ex-boyfriend, Ray J.
