BGT fans left in tears after witnessing emotional 'Susan Boyle 2.0' audition

Viewers of Britain's Got Talent believe they have found the next 'Susan Boyle' after a singer's emotional audition left the judging panel stunned.
It's hard to believe that the renowned UK talent competition, Britain's Got Talent (BGT), first graced the television screens in 2007.

Since then, there have been 16 series filled with an array of strange, wonderful, and eccentric contestants, some of whom have become household names.

Back in 2009, an unlikely star named Susan Boyle walked onto the BGT stage and delivered an unforgettable performance of 'I Dreamed a Dream' from Les Misérables.

She instantly captured the nation's hearts, and now viewers of the ITV talent show believe they have witnessed the emergence of 'Susan Boyle 2.0'.
On the night of May 6, 22-year-old Travis George from South Wales took to the stage and left fans awestruck with his emotional rendition of 'Stars' from the same musical.

After becoming visibly moved, George embarked on the song that earned him '4,000 yeses' from judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alisha Dixon, and Bruno Tonioli.

Following this emotionally charged performance, viewers were quick to applaud George for his incredible interpretation of 'Stars' and drew comparisons to season three runner-up, Boyle.

One viewer wrote: "Oh my goodness! Travis has given me goosebumps. It's like witnessing Paul Potts and Susan Boyle all over again: absolutely outstanding, and he is a superstar. The best part is that he doesn't even realize how great he is. Loved it."

Another commented: "I'm very particular about my Javert in Les Mis, but Travis George was up there and someone I would happily watch on the West End without complaint. It just needed a little more anger in the voice, and it would be spot on."

A third viewer remarked: "Another Susan Boyle moment on BGT. This guy has an amazing voice. A perfect rendition of a song from Les Mis. This guy will be singing in the West End very, very soon."

However, some keen-eyed BGT viewers discovered that George's recent appearance on the long-standing talent show was not his first taste of fame.
It has been discovered that George is an actor with a background in drama and has previously appeared in the British medical series, Casualty.

As per a comment from a Casualty fan, George was seen on the show 'two weeks ago'.

The comment reads: "He appeared on Casualty two weeks ago, portraying the boyfriend of the pregnant lady with Down's syndrome. Is BGT going to acknowledge that it's prearranged?"

Another viewer mentioned: "Did anyone else notice that Travis George was in Season 37 Episode 8 of Casualty? He played the role of Louis Marsh. His voice is absolutely brilliant."

You can catch Britain's Got Talent every Saturday night at 8 pm on ITV and ITVX.
