Real Madrid are planning to give Kylian Mbappe their legendary number 10 shirt if he joins them ahead of next season.

Mbappe will not wear Cristiano Ronaldo’s famed number seven shirt.

The shirt is presently worn by Vinicius Junior, and Mbappe will not receive it unless the Brazilian leaves or decides to change squad numbers, according to Mundo Deportivo.

However, Luka Modric, who wears the number 10, is expected to leave at the conclusion of the season, freeing up the position for Mbappe.

The Frenchman is expected to depart Paris Saint-Germain this summer, having also been linked with Arsenal and Liverpool.
