NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK–Only moments after Rachel Maddow interrupted Donald Trump’s post arraignment speech to tell her audience of ten people that her network never lies, the sky around the MSNBC building darkened and thunder roared in the background right before a massive lightning bolt struck the building and turned it into ash.

“We do not plan to carry Trump’s remarks live,” said Maddow after cutting away from Trump’s speech. “There’s a cost for us to Broadcast Untrue Things. We’re only here to bring you the news. We take our responsibility seriously. We have never lied, fabricated, spun the truth, told a tall tale, or created fake news. If I’m lying then let me be struck by lightning.”

Viewers watched in disbelief as the MSNBC building was destroyed, saying they couldn’t understand why an honest news outlet with integrity was struck down. Confused liberals were now lost as to how they would get the truth without hearing it directly from Rachel Maddow.

Democrats were quick to accuse Russia of using high tech weather technology to create the lightning bolt that destroyed MSNBC for refusing to show Trump’s speech.

At publishing time, it was reported that the White House was also struck by lightning after Joe Biden opened his mouth and said something.
