Saturday Night Live‘ Season 49 starts on October 14 with the previous cast and new addition Chloe Troast. The season premiere will be hosted by Pete Davidson, an “SNL” alum, with Ice Spice as the musical guest.

Bad Bunny will host and perform on the second episode of SNL Season 49 on October 21. He previously appeared on SNL in February 2021, showcasing his comedy skills in sketches with Pete Davidson and Ego Nwodim and sparking a TikTok trend with a “Sea Shanty” sketch.

The Writers Guild of America settled on a three-year deal on September 26, allowing shows like “SNL” to resume production. But, the actors’ strike is continuing, as confirmed by Today.

According to Deadline, SAG-AFTRA, a union of 160,000 entertainment professionals, announced a strike starting on July 13. They resumed negotiations with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers on October 2 and will continue on October 4. During the strike, actors can’t work or promote projects, meaning no red carpets, premieres, or interviews about their work.
