Season 2 of FX’s “The Bear” will premiere on June 22, 2023, exclusively on Hulu
The release date for FX’s The Bear Season 2 has been revealed. Season 2, consisting of 10 episodes, will premiere on June 22, 2023, on Hulu. The Bear is about food, family, the insanity of the grind, the beauty of a sense of urgency, and the steep, slippery downsides. As the young chef Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) fights to transform both The Original Beef of Chicagoland and himself, he works alongside a rough-around-the-edges kitchen crew that ultimately reveals themselves as his chosen family. Created by Christopher Storer. The series also stars Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Abby Elliott. Storer executive produces alongside Joanna Calo, Josh Senior, Hiro Murai, and Nate Matteson. In season 2, Bob Odenkirk and Molly Gordon will also join.
Season 1 received nominations for Best Comedy Series at the Critics’ Choice Awards and Golden Globe Awards. Jeremy Allen White won the Best Actor in a Comedy Series Award at the Critics’ Choice Television Awards, Golden Globe Awards, and Screen Actors Guild Awards. Ayo Edebiri was also nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series at the Critics’ Choice Awards. Also, the ensemble cast was nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
What Happened At The End Of The Bear Season 1?
In the Season 1 finale of The Beef, Carmy attends an Al-Anon meeting and shares his desire to work at the restaurant. Sydney and Marcus discuss their futures after quitting due to Carmy’s outburst. A fight at a bachelor party leads to Richie’s arrest. Carmy accidentally starts a stove fire and finds hidden money in tomato cans. Sydney returns after Carmy apologizes and suggests improvements. Carmy hangs a sign announcing “The Beef” closure and announces the opening of “The Bear” restaurant.
