Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer” New Poster: The Fire Arrives Soon

The new poster for Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer” has been released through the film’s official social media account. The film stars Cillian Murphy as theoretical physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, the director of the Los Alamos Laboratory during the Manhattan Project in World War II, and his contributions that led to the creation of the atomic bomb. Check out the poster below.

“Oppenheimer” is directed by Christopher Nolan and based on the book “American Prometheus” by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin. The film also stars an ensemble cast, including Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon, Rami Malek, Florence Pugh, Benny Safdie, Michael Angarano, Josh Hartnett, and Kenneth Branagh. The film is a co-production between Universal Pictures, Syncopy Inc., and Atlas Entertainment, with Nolan producing alongside Emma Thomas and Charles Roven.

In an interview with the Associated Press, Murphy discussed his role as J. Robert Oppenheimer in Nolan’s upcoming film “Oppenheimer,” where he stars as the theoretical physicist and “father of the atomic bomb.”

Murphy said he “was desperate” to lead a Nolan film. “I have always said publicly and privately, to Chris, that if I’m available and you want me to be in a movie, I’m there. I don’t really care about the size of the part.” Murphy added, “But deep down, secretly, I was desperate to play lead for him.”

Oppenheimer will hit theaters on July 21, 2023, by Universal Pictures. watch out for the trailer below.
