New Cast Members for Guy Ritchie’s War Film “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare” Announced

The new cast members for the upcoming Guy Ritchie war film “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare” have been announced.

Henry Cavill and Eiza González star in the WWII spy thriller. Alan Ritchson, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Henry Golding, Alex Pettyfer, Henry Zaga, Babs Olusanmokun, Cary Elwes, and Til Schweiger are among the newcomers.

The film, directed by Guy Ritchie from a screenplay by Paul Tamasy, Eric Johnson, Arash Amel, and Ritchie, is based on Damien Lewis’ best-selling book of the same name.

What Is The Plot?

“The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare” follows the true story of Winston Churchill and Ian Fleming’s secret WWII combat organization. The covert squad’s unusual and “ungentlemanly” fighting skills against the Nazis aided in changing the course of the war and giving rise to the modern Black Ops squad.

Collider previously reported that filming would begin in February 2023. Cavill reunites with Ritchie after their collaboration in 2015’s The Man from U.N.C.L.E.

Jerry Bruckheimer and Paramount Pictures produced the film. Bruckheimer is producing for Black Bear International with Chad Oman, Ritchie’s producing partner Ivan Atkinson, and John Friedberg. Scott Lastaiti, Olga Filipuk, Damien Lewis, and Tamasy & Johnson are among the executive producers.

Alan Ritchson stars in Reacher, one of Amazon Prime Video’s top five U.S. and global series. He will next star in Universal’s Fast X and Lionsgate’s Ordinary Angels with Hilary Swank.

Hero Fiennes Tiffin is known for playing Tom Riddle in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince before starring in the After franchise and The Woman King with Viola Davis.

Henry Golding reunites with Guy Ritchie after The Gentlemen and is in production on Netflix’s The Old Guard 2 with Charlize Theron, Paramount’s animation The Tiger’s Apprentice, and Sony’s Downtown Owl with Lily Rabe and Hamish Linklater.

Alex Pettyfer is known for Magic Mike, The Butler, and Back Roads. Pettyfer will next appear in the film 5Lbs of Pressure.

Henry Zaga recently appeared in Netflix’s Beyond the Universe and 20th Century Fox’s The New Mutants.

Babs Olusanmokun has appeared in Dune and “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” and Guy Ritchie’s MGM film Wrath of Man.

Cary Elwes will next appear in Paramount’s Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre, and Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon.
