Taylor Swift captivated fans with a surprise announcement during her second Eras Tour performance on Sunday, March 3, 2024, in Singapore.
In front of a crowd of 55,000 at the Singapore National Stadium, Swift, seated at her piano, revealed the fourth and ultimate iteration of her upcoming album, "The Tortured Poets Department."
A fan-captured video shared on X (formerly Twitter) showcased the unveiling of the new album version on a screen behind Swift, including a bonus track titled "The Black Dog" and an unseen artwork featuring Swift running her hands through her hair.

Taking to her official Instagram account shortly after, Swift shared the same news along with an image of the artwork revealed during her performance.
The caption hinted at the theme of the bonus track, stating, "'Old habits die screaming…' File Name: The Black Dog. Pre-order the final new edition of THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT with exclusive bonus track 'The Black Dog' on my website now."
The announcement of "The Tortured Poets Department" came after Swift's triumph at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards on February 5, 2024, where she clinched the Best Pop Vocal Album award for "Midnights."
