Former United States President Donald Trump has made his debut on the Billboard chart after his single, "Justice for All," became the best-selling song of the week.
The 76-year-old's collaboration with a group of prisoners called the J6 Prison Choir, who were reportedly involved in the January 6 insurrection, features his recitation of the "Pledge of Allegiance."
Produced by an anonymous "major recording artist," the song was released on March 2 and quickly became popular on major digital music retailers like iTunes.
Although it reached the top of the Billboard Digital Song Sales chart, its absence from streaming and radio support meant that it could not enter the Billboard Hot 100, instead premiering at #4 on the Bubbling Under Chart.
Trump is now the first US President to top a Billboard chart, although previous presidents, including Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, John F. Kennedy, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Lyndon Johnson, Dwight Eisenhower, and Richard Nixon, have also appeared on various Billboard charts in the past.
