Joey King and Steven Piet’s wedding: Joey King, the star of Netflix’s The Kissing Booth and The Act, has married her longtime partner Steven Piet, a director and producer, in a secret ceremony in the Balearic Islands, Spain.

King, 24, and Piet, 32, met on the set of The Act in 2019, where Piet directed two episodes of the Hulu miniseries that earned King an Emmy nomination for her portrayal of Gypsy Rose Blanchard.
They made their red carpet debut as a couple at an Emmy party in September 2019 and got engaged in February 2022 during a desert getaway.
The actress announced the engagement on Instagram with a series of photos showing off her elongated diamond ring estimated to be worth around $150,000.
She wrote: “I never knew happiness could be so powerful that it can take the air from your lungs, overwhelming every part of you that you can’t help but feel your eyes well from the undeniable joy … I never knew until you.”
She also expressed her excitement to marry Piet and called him “the coolest and greatest and most gentle and wonderful person I know.” She added: “Hanging out with you forever sounds like a real dream, so let’s do it.”
The couple kept their wedding plans under wraps and surprised their fans with the news of their nuptials. They tied the knot on the island of Mallorca, one of the four major islands that form the Balearic archipelago in the western Mediterranean Sea.
The Balearic Islands are known for their stunning scenery, rich culture, and Mediterranean climate. They are also a popular tourist destination for travelers seeking sun, sea, and sand.
King and Piet have not yet shared any photos or details of their wedding on social media. However, they have posted some snaps of their travels in Portugal and Spain before their big day.
King captioned one of them: “Love is cool! Love is grand! Love is kissing in front of the Fonte dos Amores and having too many caipirinhas together.”
