Get Ready for Terror, rendered too cheaply in Bad CGI Gator

Get ready for some fun and gory mayhem from the swamps of Georgia! Full Moon Features has just released the trailer for their upcoming creature feature parody Bad CGI Gator, set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video and FullMoonfeatures.com on November 24th.

This raunchy B-movie promises plenty of bloody carnage courtesy of the worst Cgi Gator to ever grace the screen.

Sharknado, Slither, Eight Legged Freaks, Piranha… our streaming services are saturated with ridiculous flicks, featuring extra-large monsters wreaking havoc ala bad CGI. Now, Bad CGI Gator writer, Zalman Band, director, Danny Draven, and Full Moon Features are taking this pop culture phenomenon and well… poking fun!

The film centers around six college grads on a raunchy spring break getaway deep in the swamplands of Georgia. Once there, they decide to throw their school laptops in a backyard lake in an act of youthful defiance which unknowingly turns a lurking alligator into the dreaded and insatiable… Bad CGI Gator!

What follows is over-the-top violence and hilarity as the hideous digital reptile runs amok.

The newly released trailer proudly boasts of “high-quality fun” and “high-quality carnage” paired with a deliberately “low-quality monster.” And they aren’t kidding – the CGI gator effects look like something that crawled out of a 90’s sci-fi film. This floating, distorted creature is more likely to induce giggles than screams as it chases down half-naked springbreakers.

Check out the blood-splattered trailer for Bad CGI Gator below and watch as guts spill, and limbs fly with abandon in all their terrible CGI glory.

As Full Moon CEO Charles Band says, “I’ve long been against the overuse of CGI in genre films, and in many ways, this movie is a fun, tongue-in-cheek antidote to that. When done right, CGI is a great tool to accent special effects. When done wrong…well, we get BAD CGI GATOR! Get ready!”

So, gather around lovers of gloriously bad cinema for a hilarious mix of gratuitous raunch, way too much gore, and a monster that delivers all the purposefully terrible CGI you never knew you needed, until now.
