Free Horror Titles On Redbox In September

The nights grow longer and a chill fills the air as fall approaches. This September, Redbox delivers a frightening selection of new horror films now available to stream for free. Maniacal laughter echoes against blood-curdling screams in this frightening lineup, where unspeakable terrors lurk in the shadows. So gather around the glow of your screen this fall and prepare for a cinematic experience that will leave you screaming.

Among the titles offered in September is the horror-comedy Tucker and Dale vs. Evil. It follows two well-meaning hillbillies who are mistaken for killers by a group of vacationing college kids. Bloody hijinks ensue in this clever spin on slasher movie tropes.

Also available is Nightbreed, where a troubled young man discovers a hidden world of sympathetic monsters, just as a vicious serial killer frames him for murder. And Beyond Re-Animator sees the return of the twisted scientist from the classic original, as he resumes his reanimation experiments behind bars with ghoulish results.

Beyond Re-Animator (Available: September 1st)
After 13 years in prison, the mad scientist from Re-Animator (1985) gets a new chance to experiment with the arrival of a young prison doctor, who secretly hopes to learn to reanimate dead people. Good intentions turn to horror.

Midnight Meat Train (Available: September 1st)
A photographer’s obsessive pursuit of dark subject matter leads him into the path of a serial killer who stalks late-night commuters, ultimately butchering them in the most gruesome ways.

Cell (Available: September 1st)
When a mysterious cell phone signal causes apocalyptic chaos, an artist is determined to reunite with his young son in New England.

And Soon the Darkness (Available: September 1st)
A couple of American girls on a bike trip in a remote part of Argentina split, and one goes missing, the other must find her before her worst fears are realized.

Train to Busan (Available: September 1st)
While a zombie virus breaks out in South Korea, passengers struggle to survive on the train from Seoul to Busan.

Hostile (Available: September 1st)
Juliette, a lone survivor of an apocalyptic era, fights to survive against hunger, thirst, a broken leg and strange, disturbing creatures that only come out at nighttime.

Survival of the Dead (Available: September 1st)
On an island off the coast of North America, local residents simultaneously fight a zombie epidemic while hoping for a cure to return their un-dead relatives back to their human state.

The Eyes of My Mother (Available: September 1st)

Carnival of Souls (Available: September 1st)
Mary Henry sole survivor of a fatal car accident, moves to a new job, but is haunted by visions of a fiendish man, and strangely drawn to the deserted carnival at the edge of town.

Let The Right One In (Available: September 12th)
Oscar, an overlooked and bullied boy, finds love and revenge through Eli, a beautiful but peculiar girl who turns out to be a vampire.

Tucker and Dale Vs. Evil (Available: September 12th)
Two hillbillies are suspected of being killers by a group of college kids camping near the duo’s West Virginian cabin. As the body count accidentally climbs so does the fear and confusion as the college kids try to seek revenge against the pair, who believe that the kids are on some sort of suicide pact. Preconceptions and misunderstandings abound as horror and hilarity occupy the screen side by side.
