They specialise in romantic outdoor wedding ceremonies offering three different Manor by the Lake licensed wedding collections for your outdoor wedding. The first of these spaces is Manor Arches. The dramatic entrance to the manor is very photogenic making a stunning backdrop in your for me to take your wedding photos. The Italian Pavilion is a beautiful setting for a romantic outdoor ceremony. Situated next to the manor it offers a tranquil location surrounded by nature. The Lake Pavilion sits unsurprisingly next to the idyllic lake and makes a tranquil and unforgettable location for a romantic outdoor ceremony. With all outdoor ceremonies, indoor rooms are kept available in case plans need to change at the last minute because of inclement weather.

For indoor wedding ceremonies Maximilian is a bright and beautiful room with original period features. I love its wood panelling, high chandeliered ceiling, parquet floor and feature fireplace to make a backdrop for your candid and informal yet natural wedding photographs. The ceiling to floor windows floods the space with an abundance of natural light.
The Ballroom is Manor by the Lake’s largest space, it can comfortable hold up to 250 wedding guests so is ideal for large weddings. With its own bar, stage, state of the art light and sound systems and its own entrance, it feels like a venue within a venue. White walls, draped ceilings adorned with fairy lights and ambient lighting create the perfect vibe for an elegant wedding and make a great backdrop for me whilst I’m taking photographs as your guests mingle with champagne and canapes.
The Ballroom opens out onto the lake and gardens so you can throw open the doors to blend indoor and outdoor spaces and in summer months enjoy a party under the stars. The team at Manor by the Lake are fine with fireworks and open fires so you can really get creative for an outdoor celebration after dark.
Lyderick is a room that lends itself to a variety of different layouts, making it a fantastic space for a wedding ceremony and even a lounge and breakfast room for your guests to enjoy the next day. It is a large space that can accommodate a lot of guests.
When I shoot wedding photography at Manor by the Lake, I love Lyderick’s intricate carvings on the wood panelled wall, and the stained-glass windows that throw interest light around the room. Licensed for ceremonies, Lyderick enjoys sweeping views of the grounds. A fun fact about Lyderick is that it has a secret passageway that leads into the Rock Bar.

When I shoot wedding photography at The Manor by the Lake, I love capturing candid images of guests in the Rock Bar. It is a very coolly designed space, with a jukebox and a games room and table football. It’s a great place for your wedding guests to meet at the start of the day, or to chill in later when taking a break from the dancefloor. If you’re thinking of having a family friendly wedding, the young, and let’s face it the ‘not so young’ will love it!
The last room at Manor by the Lake I want to talk about is the Marguerite Library. The library is the perfect place to take a few minutes out from your wedding day and relax in a quiet space after you’ve just got married or perhaps for the two of you take a few minutes out in the middle of your beautiful wedding day. The Marguerite Library has bright windows to the garden and beautifully ornate fire place. A cosy spot that once you settle down, it’s hard to motivate yourself to leave!
When it comes to food, The Manor by the Lake have a brigade of in-house chefs. You can meet them before the day, taste the menu selection and create your own bespoke wedding menu for you and your wedding guests covering everything from the finest champagne to toast your wedding with and beautiful tasty canapes along with wedding breakfast and tasty evening treats for your evening wedding guests. The Manor by the Lake offer virtually everything for your dream wedding from fine dining to Mexican street food so the food at your wedding can be as formal or as casual as you like!

The Main House has 12 rooms, some suites with beautiful roll top baths and four poster beds to spend your first night as a married couple. The remaining double rooms are all luxurious and are all decorated with their own distinct style.
