Joseph A. Miller is an Associate Professor of Art at S.U.N.Y. Buffalo State University, boasts an extensive tenure of teaching drawing and painting since 1997. He successfully completed his B.F.A. degree at Kutztown University, Pennsylvania in 1990, and further pursued his M.F.A. degree specializing in painting and drawing at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1993. Prior to joining Buffalo State College, Joseph contributed his expertise at The Philadelphia Museum of Art, where he actively engaged in both security and art conservation departments.

Additionally, it secured the esteemed Best in Show Award in the National Drawing and Painting Exhibition at the Lore Degenstein Gallery, located at Susquehanna University in Pennsylvania. Furthermore, two Purchase Awards were granted by Wright State University Art Galleries in Dayton, Ohio, acknowledging the exceptional quality of the artwork displayed.
