Lisa has been weight training since 2003 and preparing for competitions since 2008. In 2006, while she was living in Japan while teaching English, she actually first started bodybuilding. Her boyfriend was a Japanese bodybuilding champion at the time, and she started bodybuilding training such as Negrita Jayde. She came to see Ms. Olympia in 2007, after marrying, for her honeymoon and was impressed when she saw women bodybuilders for the first time in real life. Lewis Breed, the former United Kingdom junior champion oversees her training and bodybuilding preparation.
In her 2009 NABBA England debut competition, she competed behind Jennie Ellam in second place. She then took second place to Larissa Cunha at the 2009 NABBA Universe. Her best victory in the UKBFF UK Championship was her first place, winning the Ladies Physique Class. It announced on 19 March 2014 that it received its IFBB pro card and now can compete for it.
