SEVENTEEN showed their chaotic chemistry while playing 'Don't Lie'. On the latest episode of 'GOING SEVENTEEN', Mingyu was again targeted by Hoshi until their eternal enmity was compiled.
SEVENTEEN (II) returned to entertain fans Wednesday night. The new episode of “GOING SEVENTEEN” saw the 13 members playing “Don't Lie,” which is basically a modified mafia game.
On Wednesday (8/3), "GOING SEVENTEEN" aired a new episode of "Don't Lie" after the members acted as employees of a company outing. As expected, S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua Hong, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, DK, Mingyu, Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino showed chaotic chemistry during the game.
One of the moments that made fans shake their heads was when Hoshi pointed at Mingyu to be killed. Synchronized, all members without hesitation killed Mingyu. Even Mingyu wondered why he wasn't given a chance to defend himself.
"Yes! It's Kim Mingyu. I'll explain later but it's Mingyu!" Hoshi said as he shook his legs and then knelt down.

When Mingyu was chosen to be eliminated, all the members laughed. S.Coups said that Mingyu can rest because he worked hard before. Without prior defense, Woozi jokingly said his members were cruel.
The moment Hoshi targeted Mingyu in this game didn't happen just once. Even so, fans are cheered up every time it happens and it's one to look forward to. One fan even made a compilation of Hoshi and Mingyu's eternal feud during this game.

On the February 10 2020 episode of "GOING SEVENTEEN", Hoshi, who was chosen by the members as a mafia, pulled Mingyu because he felt betrayed. Hoshi passionately explained why Mingyu had to be eliminated.
"I'm the trusted choice, right? Eliminate me in the next round and catch him first. He betrayed me. Me, I'm a mafia! He dumped me just to gain your trust!" Hoshi shouted while Mingyu covered his mouth in shock.
The second time Hoshi made an enemy of Mingyu was when they played on "GOING SEVENTEEN" on the November 30 2020 episode. Because Hoshi's explanation was getting more and more fiery and chaotic, the members were surprised themselves.
Next, on the June 16 2021 episode of "GOING SEVENTEEN", Hoshi chose Mingyu as a mafia in a dramatic way. Until the other SEVENTEEN members have memorized the pattern of the game. Realizing how often Hoshi pointed at Mingyu in the "Don't Lie" game made the fans laugh.
"This is not Hoshi versus Mingyu. But Hoshi attacked Mingyu," said one of the fans. "Make them become (real) mafia partners! I want to see the craziness," said other fans. "Really the peak of comedy," added another.
"This isn't an episode of 'Don't Lie' without the two of them fighting," commented a fan. "Hoshi in every episode of 'Don't Lie': MINGYU IS MY TARGET WHATEVER HAPPENED," continued other fans. "I can't be totally synchronized," said another.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN is busy preparing for the "Caratland" event. The annual fanmeeting which has been held seven times will be held from March 10 to 13 at the KSPO Dome, Seoul. (wk/inta)
