On Wednesday (10/8), KBS held a press conference for its new drama "If You Wish Upon Me". The event was attended by the director and cast, including SNSD's Sooyoung (Girls' Generation).
During the interview, Sooyoung also mentioned his teammate, Yoona. The reason is, they play characters with the same job, namely nurses.

Even though they both act as nurses, Sooyoung and Yoona apparently never discussed their roles. Because apart from not knowing each other, their characters are also described as different types of nurses.
Sooyoung said, "I didn't know that YoonA also played a nurse. But YoonA is a nurse at a public hospital and I'm a nurse at a hospital center. We're not talking about playing a nurse."
Besides talking about Yoona, Sooyoung also discussed her character Seo Yeon Joo. He said, "I like how Yeon Joo is expressed in the script."
"I wanted to appear in a project where chemistry was important and I was lucky to find a script that I could rely on. After joining this project, I worked really hard. I wanted my character to radiate energy," he concluded.
Meanwhile, "If You Wish Upon Me" tells the story of people who are trying to fulfill the last wish of a patient who is about to die. Sooyoung plays Seo Yeon Joo, a tough and cheerful nurse who is obsessed with sports.
Despite this, he continued to do well at the hospital. He also always shows warm interaction with each patient and treats them with great care.
