Surviving Summer is an Australian teen drama series created by Joanna Werner and Josh Mapleston. The Netflix series follows the story of Summer Torres (Sky Katz), a rebellious teenager who gets sent to Australia to live with an old friend of her mother after getting expelled from her high school in Brooklyn. In her new school, she starts hanging out with a group of competitive surfers.
