Jason Statham is back with a sequel to his hit shark action Film The Meg titled Meg 2: The Trench. While the Meg films never had the substance of Jaws, it sure does know how to entertain an audience and Meg 2 delivers on that perfectly. Meg 2 sees our Jonas once again taking on sharks and fighting for the survival of his own life and the life of the people around him. Meg 2: The Trench doesn’t shy away from looking silly and nonsensical and it is better for it.
Directed by Ben Wheatley, Meg 2: The Trech also stars Sienna Guillory, Li Bingbing, Able Wanamakok, Wu Jing, Cliff Curtis, Shuya Sophia Cai, Page Kennedy, Skyler Samuels, Melissanthi Mahut, and Sergio Peris-Mencheta.
