Denzel Washington is back as Robert McCall, and so are his unforgiving ways towards anyone who harms his loved ones. The Equalizer 3 is directed by Antoine Fuqua, the actor-director duo has given us great action films in the past and this upcoming Equalizer film is supposed to be even better.

The Equalizer film follows the story of a retired U.S. Marine and a former DIA officer who just wants peace but as fate would have it the only way for him to achieve any kind of piece is through extreme violence.

In the new teaser for The Equalizer 3, we see McCall living his peaceful life in Southern Italy in order to forget all about his brutal past. McCall has made some new friends and thinks that he has finally found some peace but when his new friends are threatened by the local mafia, he tries to save them in the only way he knows.

Back in 2018, Fuqua expressed that he wanted to take the franchise into an international setting, and it seems like he got his wish. The Equalizer 3 began filming on the Amalfi Coast in Italy.

Alongside Washington, The Equalizer 3 also stars Dakota Fanning, David Denman, Sonia Ben Ammar, Remo Girone, Eugenio Mastrandrea, Andrea Scarduzio, and Salvatore Ruocco.
