The Sinner is a brilliant mystery thriller. Based on a book of the same name by Petra Hammesfahr and it is adapted for television by Derek Simonds. The USA Network series revolves around Detective Harry Ambrose as he digs deeper and deeper into some of the mysterious and dangerous cases. Originally intended as a miniseries, The Sinner expanded as a procedural drama and ran for four brilliant seasons ending its run in 2021. Perry Mason (HBO Max)
