His brother Keenen Ivory Wayans was in the starring role of the movie. The movie was the directorial debut of Keenen Ivory Wayans. Mark shared the screen with his siblings Damon, Kim, Shawn, and Nadia. 

Moreover, his brother Keenen wrote, created, and starred Marlon in a regular role in the television series “In Living Color.” It was a sketch comedy series.
