A vacuum cleaner-obsessed student has made thousands of pounds by buying broken machines, fixing them and then selling them on – and his clients include some of his teachers.

Matthew Lock, who has a collection of 150 vacuum cleaners, became interested in vacuum cleaners when he received his first toy, Henry, at the age of two. At age five, he vacuumed his home.

The 13-year-old now says he cleans by repairing and selling old machines, while also servicing every cleaning machine on the market.

Matthew, from Maher, Merseyside, said: “I remember in year four or five I had a rough idea of ​​how to take it apart and think about how to make it work. That’s when The collection started.”
