David William Grubbs Obituary: David William Grubbs of Wellborn FL Died, Death Cause

David William Grubbs Death – Throughout his 73 years on earth, David William Grubbs, a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, had a profound impact on many people’s lives. David was born on October 17, 1949, in West Palm Beach, Florida. Throughout his life, he showed commitment, love, and a strong desire to help people. David grew raised in a loving family as the son of Samuel Hugh Grubbs and Sarah Lois Horne Grubbs from Perry, Florida.

But destiny had other ideas, and he accepted the love and care of a large family by becoming the foster son of Willie and Ella Mae Williams. Tommy, Billy, Bobby, and Wayne, David’s foster siblings, helped him form the connections of brotherhood that would last the rest of his life. Following his 1967 graduation from Taylor County High School, David felt compelled to serve his nation and enlisted in the US Marine Corps. His service was distinguished by devotion and dedication, which led to his receiving an honorable medical discharge in 1968. David carried the ideals he learned while serving in the Marines with him throughout his life, unfazed by the difficulties he encountered.

David’s career path took him to positions as an electrician and a truck driver up to his well-earned retirement in 2010. But what actually distinguished him was his commitment to promoting love and faith outside of his professional life. Serving as a prison pastor and providing comfort and hope to those in need gave him a great deal of satisfaction in his work. As a talented singer and a committed teacher of God’s Word, he exuded a zest for life that could be heard in his voice. He demonstrated kindness, compassion, and understanding via his deeds.

Family was one of David’s most treasured possessions. His union with Janice Elaine Williams Grubbs was proof of the enduring strength of love. They created a life together that is founded on esteem for one another and continuous support. David was a very important father figure to his daughters, Stephanie, Joanna, Katherine, and Alisha. They hold him in high regard as a role model who instilled in them the ideals he held dear.

His many grandchildren, including Briana, Madikezela, JaCoby, Amber, Michael, Jacob, Allison, Ella Mae, Kayleigh, Kaylee, and Kyson, as well as his great granddaughter Scarlett, continue to carry on David’s legacy. He loved them all and delighted in seeing how well they did. Although David’s loss has left an enormous vacuum, those who knew him will always cherish their memories of his vivacious energy and unfailing affection. On October 15, 2023, friends and family will assemble for the family’s Celebration of Life to pay tribute to David and the great impact he had on their lives.

David has found eternal rest in God’s arms, but the love he shared with his loved ones will go on for many years. His memory will continue to be a source of strength for them as they navigate life without his physical presence, guiding them through both joys and difficulties. The memories of love, faith, and special occasions that David William Grubbs left behind will live on in the hearts of those who cared about him forever.
