Trenton Stewart Obituary – Stetson University football player Trent Stewart has passed away. The defensive lineman was involved in a car collision early on Tuesday morning. Stewart had just finished his first year of college. His major was information security, and he had just finished his first year.

The product of Saint John’s, Florida, has been named to the Pioneer Football League’s Academic Honor Roll for the upcoming Fall 2022 season. He hoped to work with his Hatters teammates on campus throughout the summers. Brian Young, head coach of the Hatters, said, “I want to say that it is a terribly sad day on behalf of the whole Stetson football family. We lost a young man who personified what it meant to wear a Stetson Hat, and we are all saddened by his passing. All of his teammates, his family, and the rest of the Stetson community are in our hearts and prayers.

In addition to a friend and a comrade, we also lost a brother. He will always be referred to as a Hatter.
