The Pokémon Company has unveiled a new Tera Raid less than two days after the Tandem Mouse Valentine’s Day event concluded. Scarlet and Violet adds two additional Pokemon, Sylveon and Garchomp, to its normal Tera Raids.

Although these two Pokémon aren’t particularly uncommon, fans love them because of their power and cuteness. So why not create a special edition for Pokémon fans who are the most dedicated? Here is what we know about the raid on the Garchomp Tera and the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Sylveon.

On February 16, 2023, the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Sylveon and Garchomp Tera raid began. It will last until February 19. The official blog’s start and conclusion times correspond with those of prior raids.

Raids for Sylveon and Garchomp Tera from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are already planned, but you still have till Sunday to capture each of these Pokémon.

In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Sylveon and Garchomp are quite prevalent. The ability to conceal is what distinguishes the Tera Raid edition. Sylveon Pixilate and Garchomp Rough Skin will be part of the Tera Raid, according to Siliconera (via Dengeki Online). What each skill means is as follows:

Rough Skin – A Pokémon’s Rough Skin harms attackers when it comes into direct touch with them.
These Pokémon may or may not have skills, according to certain players who have captured them. Given that one receives Pixilate Sylveon instead of Rough Skin Garchomp, this may be a coincidence.

With his ability to pixelate, Sylveon may transform common strikes like Swift into his potent STAB techniques. Although Siliconera lists a 20% increase in attack power (as in some previous games), the precise percentage of the increase is unknown. Pokémon that attack Garchomp take physical damage from its rough skin.

Thankfully, the 4-star and 5-star batches of the Sylveon and Garchomp Tera Raids won’t be as harsh as the 7-star Cinderaid Tera Raid from earlier this year. Despite being depicted in the thumbnail as having the Tera types of Fairy and Ground, respectively, Sylveon and Garchomp can have different Tera types. These are merely illustrative of what to anticipate, not what you will receive.

Different Pokémon types were introduced in addition to those that are very resistant to goblins, dragons, and ground. In case the Tera type has an accident, you can take advantage of this by hitting as many bases as you can.

A poison or steel type should be a decent option because Sylveon is a pure goblin type, just like Tandemaus. Fairies, Water, Grass, and other Pokémon types that are very resistant to Dragon-type or Ground-type Pokémon can now enter the battle thanks to Garchomp’s Dual Dragon/Ground ability. The Tera kind should, however, meet the priorities of your team, you better hope.
