Millionaires and world football are mourning the passing of Cameroonian Modeste M’bami, who passed away on Saturday, January 7, in Le Havre, France, where he currently resides. A stroke caused his death.
The midfielder, who passed away at the age of 40, had stints with Paris Saint-Germain, Olympique de Marseille, Sedan, and Le Havre on his résumé. Additionally, he has given performances in Saudi Arabia, China, and Spain (Almera) (Ittihad).
Later, he found himself playing soccer in Colombia after being hired by the wealthy at Juanma Rillo’s request in the first half of 2014. He participated in 14 games at the embassy before quitting after a disagreement over money.
He began working for CS Sedan Ardennes in the summer of 2000. Mbami, although being young, earned 10 games in his first Ligue 1 season and contributed to his team’s fifth-place result.
