Keith Farmer Motorcycle Racer Obituary; British Racer Keith Farmer is Dead

Four-time British Champion Keith Farmer passed away at age 35.

Farmer retired from racing during the 2021 season, capping up a tremendously successful career in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship circuit.

Farmer won the Superstock 600 title in 2011 with his own team before transferring to the Superstock 1000 class with Paul Bird in 2012. Surprisingly, Farmer won the title on his first attempt, using his Kawasaki to capture five victories and eight podium finishes. At the end of the year, Jason O’Halloran was 50 points behind him.

Farmer received a promotion the following year and joined Bird’s Superbike team, but they broke up before the season was over. Farmer switched teams in 2014 to PR Racing, where he earned his lone and only BSB podium at Brands Hatch.

Farmer once again proved that he was a real all-arounder in 2017 when he and Appleyard Macadam Yamaha won the British Supersport championship. Luke Jones was sidelined, so Farmer stood in for him. Farmer took advantage of the opportunity, winning nine races, coming third in 14 others, and ending 13 points ahead of Andrew Irwin.
