Gather Your Supplies

Step-by-Step Cat Cartoon Drawing:

Step 1:

In the first step of the Cartoon cat Drawing we draw the head. draw a large circle in the center of the head of the cat.  This circle is the head of the cat.

Step 2:

After sketching the head now, we draw the eyes and the nose of the Cat Cartoon Drawing. Draw two small circles inside the head for the eyes of the cat.  When you draw the circle, fill it with black color. Draw small triangle beneath the eyes for the nose. Step 3:

Add a curved line under the nose to represent the mouth. Draw a gentle curve from one end of the mouth to the other to smile at the cat. Now, it’s time to add some whiskers. Extend three or four short lines on each side of the cat’s face, starting near the nose.

Step 4:

After completing the face now, we draw the legs of the cartoon drawing of a cat. In this step, we draw one leg. For the leg, draw a slightly curved line below the head. Step 5:

After drawing one leg, we draw the second leg of the cartoon cat drawing. Draw a curved line for the leg. Repeat the same process as we already described in step 4.

Step 6:

Let’s draw the final leg of this cartoon cat drawing. Draw the curved line from the second leg and bend it to make a paw, and merge this line with the head. When the line merges, this will become the body of the cat.

Step 7:

In this step, we draw the ears of the cartoon cat drawing. Draw two small circles above the head, on either side, to create the ears. To make the ears more cat-like, add some inner details. Draw a slightly smaller curved line inside each ear to show fur texture.

Step 8:

In this last, we draw the tail of the cat cartoon drawing. Add a long, curved line extending from the back of the body to create the tail. You can make the tail as fluffy or thin as you like. Now we add color to the cat drawing. Usually, cats are present in different colors, like white, black, and brown. For this cat drawing, we used brown color to fill. But you can choose any color or your favorite color.
