The song was nominated for the Grammy Award for Song of the Year at the 2010 ceremony. “I’m Yours” peaked at number six on the Billboard Hot 100, giving Mraz his first top ten single. The song became the longest-leading single in the history of Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart, spending its initial 122 weeks on the chart before finally dropping out in September 2010. 

The lyrics to “I’m Yours” are about taking chances and enjoying life’s moment. The singer is telling the person they are singing to that they are free and should not hesitate to take advantage of that fact. He also says that everyone is one big family and we should all love each other. The chorus of the song repeats the phrase “I won’t hesitate” followed by “no more, no more”. This could be interpreted as meaning that the singer will never hesitate to tell someone they love them again or it could mean that he won’t hesitate to take any opportunity that comes his way from now on. Either way, it is a very positive message.
