La De Papel ‘BERLIN’: Review

Fans of “La Casa de Papel ‘Berlin” are about to dive into the much-awaited spin-off, “Berlin,” which illuminates Pedro Alonso’s legendary character. We had the honor of watching the entire series ahead of time, so the excitement is at its highest. Our thorough assessment of this brand-new journey, which promises to solve Berlin’s riddles, is waiting for you below!

Though hints of it are shown in the latter seasons of “Money Heist,” the spin-off “Berlin” delves deeply into the mysterious character’s previous life. Pedro Alonso’s portrayal of Berlin reveals his belief that a bad day can only be improved by two things: love and a million-dollar salary. This belief establishes his constant focus and directs him toward admirable objectives.

NEW CHARACTERS

Pedro Alosono

Pedro Alonso’s “Berlin,” a spin-off of “Money Heist,” presents a cast of new people that encircle Berlin. The narrative explores Berlin’s heyday, which predates both the events at the Royal Spanish Mint and the diagnosis of his disease. Michelle Jenner, a cybersecurity and electrical engineering expert, portrays Keila, as one of the new faces. Tristán Ulloa’s portrayal of Damián, an engineer, physicist, and chemist, is perfect for realizing Berlin’s audacious concepts.

Fans of “La Casa de Papel” are in for a big surprise: Itziar Ituño and Najwa Nimri will be back as Raquel Murillo and Alicia Sierra, respectively. This will undoubtedly instill terror in Berlin’s team.

A NEW/FIRST HEIST?

Berlin and his five geniuses are plotting a heist at Paris’ biggest auction house, intending to rob its director, Polignac, as the series teaser teases. They place themselves in a strategic location near him so they can keep a closer eye on him. They want to carry out the century’s biggest theft by going beneath Paris and into the catacombs. But when Berlin is seduced by Polignac’s wife Camille, things get complicated. And like it wasn’t enough, oh no! Two astute investigators, Raquel Murillo and Alicia Sierra, take up the investigation and terrorize the six robbers.

A BIG SURPRISE!

There were worries that the show would feel like a “repeat” of “Money Heist” when it was first announced. But “Berlin” successfully adds a distinctive touch while retaining the spirit of the original series. It goes farther into the planning and character development than just being a flashback heist. The eight episodes feature an emotional roller coaster with the new team that grows on us, much like the experience of “La Casa de Papel.”

The intriguing and compelling spin-off “Berlin” keeps you on the edge of your seat with its action-packed sequences, thrilling moments, and skilled cast. By skillfully encapsulating the spirit and soul of its predecessor, it creates a singular spectacle.
