Our 2005 best Rock Albums list takes a stop halfway through the decade of the 2000s with another batch of rock albums that proved rock was not dead. Of course, there will always be those that claim there was no good music released after the 60s and 70s, but didn’t we hear the same thing from our parents about the music of the 40s and 50s? Truth is, every generation owns their own music, and rock and roll really never dies, it just keeps changing.  Of course, it also continues to hold enough space for the old and the new.
