Bulathsinghalage Sirisena JP Cooray was a politician in Sri Lanka. From 1979 until 1989, he served as Mayor of Colombo, and in 1989, he was elected to Parliament from Colombo in the 9th legislative election, when he was named Minister of Housing and Construction in the Premadasa ministry. During the reign of party leader Ranasinghe Premadasa, he served as General Secretary of the United National Party.
