Tattoo Transformations can be vague and the possibilities can be endless, so we included some to give you an idea of what you can do!

Imagine you just got that shiny new tattoo that you wanted for years. Is it your favorite flower? Your city’s skyline? What about the lead singer to your favorite band? Either way, this tattoo has an unbelievable amount of meaning to you and represents your interests and passions. Now, fast forward a few years and this tattoo is not as nice and shiny as it once was. It’s faded or not as vibrant as it once was, and you want to do something about it. Luckily, Tattoo Transformation is your answer and will bring life back to your meaningful tattoos.

Your first step is to identify which tattoo you want to transform and whether you want to remove it or have it faded. Typically, when someone wants their tattoo transformed, they will only fade the tattoo so the artist knows what the shape and shading should represent. That is where Removery comes in. We offer fading services to our clients and share artist information whose specialty is transformation.

Redoing a Tattoo: The Transformation Process

First, you need to fade your tattoo to allow the artist to understand where to place ink and where it will make the biggest difference in the designs. This can be accomplished with any tattoo removal company that allows a safe and sanitary experience. With Removery, we provide different packages that will get your tattoo where it needs to be as you start this journey.

Next, you’ll need to allow the ink to fade and the collection of designs to open for the artist. We will recommend around 6-8 weeks of recovery after your final appointment for you to have your tattoo transformed, but listen to your laser technician as they will know your situation better at the time.

After this time period, you can get your tattoo redone! All you need to do is find an artist whose specialty is to execute this request and get it done. Luckily, Removery partners with tattoo artists throughout the world and can give you recommendations on where to go next.

How to Approach a Tattoo Transformation

There are many ways to approach your journey with a Tattoo Transformation. These are some of the options we recommend for getting you started.

Tattoo Fading Creams

Creams are an option for people who might not like the process of getting their designs removed through laser removal. This process typically takes the longest but offers a pain-free option that will help the process.

Tattoo Removal

Tattoo Removal is used for people who want to completely redo a tattoo. This is not typically done to rework a previous tattoo but offers an incredible option for clients who want to add something new or completely get rid of a tattoo in a specific area. This is accomplished through laser tattoo removal and focuses on breaking up the ink within your skin to allow the immune system to flush it out of your system.

Tattoo Cover-Up

Tattoo Cover-Up is a similar process to Tattoo Removal. The only difference is that Cover-Ups typically focuses on fading the tattoo so an artist can add to the tattoo design, redo the tattoo in a different style, or completely rework the tattoo. This can be done with colored ink or black ink. The difference is the time frame in which the ink will leave the tattoo.

Colored ink designs will take longer as it is not as dark as black ink, but speaking with your laser technician will give you answers on your specific tattoo and will give you a timeline in which you can expect to have faded designs.
