Popular entertainer Kim Myung-soo, professionally known as L, was last seen in 2023’s Numbers with Choi Jin-hyuk and in 2020’s Royal Secret Agent, with Kwon Na-ra and Lee Yi-kyung. Meanwhile, we last saw Lee Yoo-young in 2022’s Insider with Kang Ha-neul and Heo Sung-tae.

Hong-do will be shaken after she sees a woman from Yoon-bok’s past get closer to him. She will try to learn about her from her brother since he is Yoon-bok’s best friend but gets no answer out of it. Hong-do will also confront the woman for more details but she will not reveal the relationship she has or had with Yoon-bok. The woman probably might be Yoon-bok’s sister given in the third episode we saw him remembering his mother and sister after getting a phone call from a woman.

Hong-do will get super jealous and also hurt by the way they both get along. She will also misinterpret their interaction and decide they’re in a relationship. Meanwhile, the man whom Yoon-bok requested the maid to take care of will have his plans to escape. Apparently, he might be one of the main clues in finding the bigger villain. Additionally, Camille will be rejected by her lover and she’ll get fed up. In the next episode, we’ll be watching too many things happening all at once.

Dare to Love Me Episode 4 Recap

In this episode, Yoon-bok wakes up with memories of the previous night when Hong-do had to take care of him after he got drunk. Hong-do dresses up beautifully, excited for their planned weekend city tour. However, Yoon-bok forgets about their plan and hurriedly gets ready when Hong-do arrives. The two spend the day exploring the city, playing games, taking photos, and enjoying themselves, giving Yoon-bok a rare day of relaxation.

Meanwhile, it is revealed that Jun-ho, the son of one of Seongsan village’s maids, has been living in Seoul, running a business thanks to an anonymous sponsor. Back at the office, Hong-do is given a task by Camille to deliver a present to Master Shin in Seongsan village. Knowing that the public can’t access the main gate of the village, Hong-do calls Yoon-bok for help. However, he is already inside the village, and the mobile network cuts off.

The next day, Hong-do arrives at the village and tries to get inside but fails repeatedly, with the guards turning her away. Just in time, Yoon-bok arrives and takes her inside. Their appearance together quickly spreads through the village, reaching the ears of Lady Se Ryeong, who is rumored to be marrying Yoon-bok. Hong-do soon discovers that Master Shin is Yoon-bok’s grandfather.

Yoon-bok arranges for a maid to dress Hong-do in traditional attire, and he is mesmerized when she steps out. They then visit Master Shin, and Hong-do delivers Camille’s present. Master Shin invites her to stay the night and attend the memorial service. After they leave, Master Shin opens the present, which allows him to unlock a box he has been holding. A flashback reveals that Camille and Master Shin once fell in love in Paris, promising to reach out to each other if they wanted to reconnect.

Hong-do learns that the memorial service is for Yoon-bok’s father, and she feels saddened by this. She also overhears a conversation between Yoon-bok and his grandfather about Camille’s desire to hold a fashion show in the village and the topic of Yoon-bok’s marriage to Se Ryeong. His grandfather asks if Yoon-bok has someone in his heart, to which Yoon-bok replies that he will reveal it when the time comes.

The next morning, Hong-do wonders on the bus whether Yoon-bok likes someone, confusing herself with her thoughts. As they walk home, she musters the courage to ask if he has a girlfriend. Just then, a woman yells out Yoon-bok’s name, and the episode ends on this cliffhanger.

This episode highlights the growing bond between Yoon-bok and Hong-do, while also delving into Yoon-bok’s complicated family dynamics and Hong-do’s professional challenges. The intertwining of their personal and professional lives sets the stage for further developments and potential conflicts, especially with the looming presence of Se Ryeong and another woman and the mystery of Camille and Master Shin’s past.
