It’s time to brew some hot coffee, as Koffee With Karan Season 8 is all set to return soon. The seventh season last year received mixed responses. Host Karan Johar was his usual self, but viewers were not pleased with his questions and the guests, who seemed disinterested. Hence, when the first promo dropped, the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani director took a dig at himself and the criticisms he received. He plans to make the upcoming season a better one.
On October 22, the first episode promo of Koffee With Karan 2023 leaked online and featured the actors and couple, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. It’s the first time DeepVeer will appear as a couple on the show. The duo looks as stunning as ever and reveals that they were engaged in 2015, three years before they married in November 2018. Ranveer reveals that he didn’t want anyone else doing it before him, so he took his chance.
What’s more in Deepika-Ranveer’s Koffee With Karan Season 8 Promo?
When host Karan Johar calls them a smoking hot couple, Ranveer teases him by responding, ‘tharki’ uncle. It’s a word some netizens use for KJo when he asks them about their s*x lives. Karan Asks Deepika, apart from Ranveer, who she thinks has the best onscreen chemistry. One might expect her to answer Shah Rukh Khan or Ranbir Kapoor. But DP surprised us by mentioning that it’s with Hrithik Roshan.
Deepika and Hrithik will appear in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter, set to release in theatres on January 25, 2024. Furthermore, Karan asks Deepika if she would date RockyRanveer (Ranveer’s character from KJo’s RARKPK). An excited Deepika says that she’s already married to Rocky Randhawa.
From the leaked promo, one can expect the first episode to be one of the best openers for KWK. The pairing is perfect and fresh, and the vibes are fun. However, the set of the chat show seems completely different.

Koffee With Karan Season 8 New Set
With every season, Karan has changed the set, including his fashion game. The new set is all brown and golden, like sitting inside a coffee box. The couch is black and white with words and phrases printed on it. We can clearly see Beans’ the Beans’ written in bold text. In other words, the show’s manifestations include GOAT, Blah Blah, Conjecture, He Said, She Said, etc.
Koffee With Karan Season 8 Expected Guests
So far, only Ranveer and Deepika are confirmed, thanks to the promo. However, reports state that the new season will include Alia Bhatt-Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sara Ali Khan-Ananya Panday, Sunny Deol-Bobby Deol, and Sidharth Malhotra-Kiara Advani. There are also speculations about Shah Rukh Khan appearing on the chat show.

The new season of KWK will release its first episode on October 26, 2023, on Disney+ Hotstar.
