Creature Ending Explained: Created, written, and directed by Çagan Irmak, Creature aka Yaratilan, is a Turkish adaptation of Mary Shelley’s novel Frankenstein. The series stars famous Turkish actors Erkan Kolçak Köstendil, Taner Ölmez, Engin Benli, Şifanur Gül, Bülent Şakrak, Sema Çeyrekbaşı, Devrim Yakut and more. The series has 8 episodes in total, each with a runtime of 30 to 35 minutes. It is available in English and Turkish audio with multiple language subtitles.

Creature follows the story of Ziya, a scientist trying to find a cure to give peace to humankind that struggles with diseases. When he meets a medical doctor Ihsan in Istanbul, his dreams of ending death come true with a penalty. When he resurrects someone he dearly respects, it ultimately ends him in big trouble as he later realises he’s brought to earth a monster. Stuck between saving his loved ones and finding an end to the creature he brought back, the viewers view the life of the scientist’s agony!

Creature Ending Explained

Somehow Ihsan finds a new life after he meets Esma. She accepts him for who he is and the couple lead a happy life which is sadly short-lived. When Ihsan wishes to marry Esma her relatives come and kill her. Out of rage and anger, Ihsan kills all those who came to harm his lover. However, everything goes in vain because Esma passes away. He gives the baby to Nana and Cafer before taking Esma’s corpse to store it safely. He wraps her body in ice so that he can preserve her until he resurrects her.

Meanwhile, Asiye and Ziya get married and go to their home to spend the night. Ihsan comes and ties Ziya and threatens him that he will kill Asiye if he refuses to build the machine. He also ties Asiye and warns her that if she goes to the police, he will kill Ziya. Asiye understands through their conversation that the man is none other than Prof. Ihsan whom her father-in-law mentioned and that Ziya is the one who has caused Ihsan so much pain.

During their travel to the mountain, Ihsan tells Ziya everything that happened to him after the incident. The two argue and Ihsan states how he abandoned him despite him being the one who forced him to work on the resurrection machine. Since Ziya isn’t immune to cold like Ihsan, he falls sick. And this is how he gets shelter from Captain Omar and his team.

Ziya completes the story to Omar and the next morning Ihsan arrives at the tent with a treasure box. He opens it, revealing gold, and asks the men to separate it amongst themselves. However, the men start turning guns at each other. Unfortunately, the bullet pierces Ziya and he dies on the spot, leaving Ihsan lost because only Ziya knows how to rebuild the machine since he has buried the book.

At the same time, Asiye and Ziya’s father visit Ihsan’s burnt house to get evidence. A mild earthquake reveals the buried book and Ziya’s father looks at it. Hopeless, Ihsan leaves taking Ziya’s corpse along with him. Captain Omar feels devastated after reading the last letter of Ziya written to his wife Asiye, requesting her to live her life if something happens to him.

Omar visits Nana and helps them with some money to take care of the baby. He drops Ziya’s letter at Asiye’s place making her realise Ziya’s gone. Omar writes a book about the story he heard from Ziya, marking that men tend to rush for answers from the Universe and get obsessed with arrogance. He finishes the book by swearing in the name of the deity and stating that mankind might find the two men who tried to defeat death lost in the mountain. The series ends with a frozen Ihsan sitting with his hands open like as if he is praying and his eyes staring into the void while the dead Ziya lies beneath him frozen as well.

The series shows how these two scientists’ obsession ended up in vain. If only Ziya hadn’t pressured Ihsan for the experiment, both of them would have lived happily in their own world. Atleast Ziya shouldn’t have resurrected Ihsan, only to leave him alone suffering. Moreover, Ihsan’s wrath turned him into a monster, pulling Ziya back to resurrect Esma. Sadly, the final plan of Ihsan ended up sacrificing Ziya as well, making him lose everyone around him. Moreover, both of them will now struggle in hell for their sins.
