American Horror Story Delicate Episode 4 Ending Explained: The latest episode of AHS is a mix of pregnancy revelations and cravings, some more traumatizing than others. The fourth episode is titled ‘Vanishing Twin’ and is directed by John J. Gray with writer Halley Feiffer. The runtime for the episode is 38 minutes.
American Horror Story Delicate flaunts a cast that includes Emma Roberts as the protagonist Anna Victoria Alcott alongside, Matt Czuchry as Dexter Harding, Kim Kardashian as Siobhan Corbyn, Annabelle Dexter-Jones as Sonia Shawcross and Adeline Harding, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez as Nicolette, Denis O’Hare as Dr. Andrew Hill, Cara Delevingne as Ivy Ehrenreich, Julie White as Ms. Io Preecher, Maaz Ali as Kamal, Juliana Canfield as Talia, Taylor Richardson as Babette Eno, Dominic Burgess as Hamish Moss, Billie Lourd as Ashley, Leslie Grossman as Ashleigh, Odessa A’zion as Melody, Debra Monk as Virginia Harding. There is also Andy Cohen as himself, Tavi Gevinson as Cora and Zachary Quinto as presenter.
The show is based on Danielle Valentine’s book Delicate Condition. The series is created by AHS’ very own Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. 20th Century Fox Television produces it for FX on Hulu. As of now, there is only one more episode to go, making the fourth episode a critical point in the story.

American Horror Story Delicate Episode 4 Ending Explained
At the beginning of American Horror Story Delicate Episode 4, we see Anna stare at a dead raccoon and then wrap it in a towel to take it inside. Initially, it seemed innocent feelings of motherhood that Anna wanted. She puts the raccoon on Talia’s old cot in the basement. However, what Anna actually does with the creature is revealed at the very end.
Towards the end of American Horror Story Delicate Episode 4, we see that Anna’s pregnancy is confirmed. One night she wakes up from her sleep and heads to the kitchen. She gets a jar of pickles and ice cream from the fridge. As she grabs a spoon, she comes across the group picture of Dex, his wife, Talia and others, where she replaces Dex’s ex-wife’s face with Sonia. It is a creepy moment that leads us to another creepy one.
We witness Anna devour the ice cream and pickles in one of the most eccentric manners possible, it is almost as if she has no control over her body and is simply eating it. After she is finished with her midnight cravings, she heads to the basement. The trap door that led her to the Ashleys’ lair seems to be locked as she tries to access it and ends up slipping and falling. Anna is knocked unconscious and wakes up the next morning.
She heads towards the raccoon in the cot. She checks the news that is on the Golden Globe Awards nomination. As the news reporter reads the news about the actresses who are nominated, Anna picks up the raccoon. With the announcement of her name being one of the nominees, we see Anna eat the rotting carcass of the raccoon that is filled with maggots.
