Destined With You Episode 11 Preview: The fantasy romance drama series (이 연애는 불가항력) stars Rowoon, Jo Bo-ah, Ha Jun, and Yura in lead roles. The show has been written by Noh Ji-sul and directed by Nam Ki-hoon, who previously worked on Oh My Baby (2020) and Kiss Sixth Sense (2022).
The drama revolves around Lee Hong-jo, a civil servant, and an ace lawyer, Jang Shin-yu who end up meeting unexpectedly. After she comes in the procession of an old wooden box with a forbidden book, the connection between the two grows stronger. It is discovered that Shin-yu suffers from a mysterious illness that has run throughout his family for generations and the cure to it is in the hands of Hong-jo. The magical book which may be the cure brings the two closer and a romance brews between them.
Jo Bo-ah returns with this drama after recently starring in Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938 as Nam Ji-ah. SF9’s Rowoon was last seen in 2022’s Tomorrow as Choi Joon-woong. Ha Jun previously starred in Missing: The Other Side Season 2 as Shin Joon while Yura’s previous role was in Forecasting Love and Weather as Chae Yoo-jin. New episodes of Destined With You arrive on JTBC on Wednesday-Thursday at 10.30 PM. Previously, the same timeslot was occupied by Miraculous Brothers.

Shin-yu will feel disturbed as his symptoms are back after a long time. Whenever he tries to get close with Hong-jo, the curse will keep him away from her and will slowly make him fall extremely ill. Hong-jo will start researching to find a way to end the curse on him. As she still doesn’t remember the past, it will be hard for her to comprehend the situation.
Shin-yu will remember more of his past and learn the reasons behind his situation. Meanwhile, Jae-kyung will pursue Hong-jo despite knowing she likes Shin-yu. On the other hand, Nayeon will go to all extremes to get back Shin-yu. Amidst all this chaos, Hong-jo will be daunted by the stalker who might be the garden owner.
Destined With You Episode 10 Recap
Shin-yu and Hong-jo’s intimate moment at the festival gets interrupted by a child. An awkward conversation between them turns into a cute moment. Both decide to part ways and promise to remain pure for each other to start anew. That night, Shin-yu confides in the Shaman about his past life and connection with Hong-jo. He wonders why Hong-jo doesn’t remember the past to which the shaman reveals that everything unfolds according to karma.
Shin-yu attempts to end things with Nayeon but she refuses to break up with Shin-yu and dismisses his concerns. At their workplace, Nayeon joins them for lunch, pretending they’re still together, which upsets Hong-jo and creates tension. Shin-yu confronts Nayeon, but she remains stern. Nayeon meets with Hong-jo, intentionally making her jealous by sharing unnecessary details about her relationship with Shin-yu. Nayeon gets drunk and makes Hong-jo call Shin-yu to pick her up.
When Shin-yu arrives, Hong-jo expresses her discomfort and leaves. That night, Hong-jo mistakes Jae-kyung for the stalker, injuring him with mace. Using this as an opportunity, he asks her out for a gathering. The next day, when Shin-yu catches Hong-jo getting out of Jae-kyung’s car, he gets mad. He and Hong-jo quarrel in his office, almost getting caught by his assistant.
That night when Hong-jo joins Jae-kyung for the romantic night, he confesses his feelings leaving her perplexed. Meanwhile, Nayeon takes Hong-jo’s gloves to the garden owner who initiates a curse on Shin-yu and Hong-jo. The situation escalates at the office as Nayeon seeks her father’s help to transfer Hong-jo to another office. Shin-yu takes drastic action, publicly displaying affection for Hong-jo, and they later share a heartfelt moment, confessing their feelings for each other. But sadly the curse’s effects return and Shin-yu panics.
