Destined With You Episode 10 Preview: The fantasy romance drama series (이 연애는 불가항력) stars Rowoon, Jo Bo-ah, Ha Jun, and Yura in lead roles. The show has been written by Noh Ji-sul and directed by Nam Ki-hoon, who previously worked on Oh My Baby (2020) and Kiss Sixth Sense (2022).
The drama revolves around Lee Hong-jo, a civil servant, and an ace lawyer, Jang Shin-yu who end up meeting unexpectedly. After she comes in the procession of an old wooden box with a forbidden book, the connection between the two grows stronger. It is discovered that Shin-yu suffers from a mysterious illness that has run throughout his family for generations and the cure to it is in the hands of Hong-jo. The magical book which may be the cure brings the two closer and a romance brews between them.
Jo Bo-ah returns with this drama after recently starring in Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938 as Nam Ji-ah. SF9’s Rowoon was last seen in 2022’s Tomorrow as Choi Joon-woong. Ha Jun previously starred in Missing: The Other Side Season 2 as Shin Joon while Yura’s previous role was in Forecasting Love and Weather as Chae Yoo-jin. New episodes of Destined With You arrive on JTBC on Wednesday-Thursday at 10.30 PM. Previously, the same timeslot was occupied by Miraculous Brothers.

More of Shin-yu and Hong-jo’s past lives will be shown. In the previous episode, a mysterious old lady was seen looking at an abandoned teenage girl near her home. More information regarding them both and the connection they have to the story will also be provided. In the present era, Shin-yu’s feelings for Hong-jo will develop massively as he remembers their past life. However, Hong-jo will remain shocked by the sudden happenings as she is clueless about the connection she has with Shin-yu.
Both Nayeon and Jae-kyung will strive to get back the ones they love but unfortunately, Shin-yu and Hong-jo will keep running towards each other. The garden owner will make things worse for them with the help of Nayeon. Additionally, as we’re not yet shown about what happened between Shin-yu and the garden owner that night, there are possibilities of that being presented as well. Romance will blossom eventually for Hong-jo but she will resist it as much as she can.

Hong-jo thankfully gets saved from the stalker as she finds Jae-kyung at the spot as well. Back at home, when Hong-jo finds Jae-kyung she asks him about his need to be there in the festival spot and he gives a relevant answer, making her doubt fade away. At the hospital, Shin-yu is still unconscious.
Hong-jo begins to worry about Shin-yu and starts texting him only to get no response. The day passes and Shin-yu thankfully wakes up. After having his conversation with his family, he checks his phone and smiles at Hong-jo’s texts. The two meet up and share a nice conversation. Hong-jo asks for the spell box so she can continue what she started. Then Shin-yu holds her hands and tells her about the business trip he has to go with Nayeon. He also adds that if Hong-jo tells him to not go he won’t go.
Someone takes a picture of the two holding hands and sends it to Nayeon. Later we find that it is the garden owner who has sent the pictures. Nayeon in return gives him Shin-yu’s shirt unaware of his purpose. On the day of the festival, Hong-jo remembers the words of Shin-yu. That night she calls him but he doesn’t pick up. However, she finds him in the festival area and they both find happiness in each other.
Shin-yu hugs Hong-jo and confesses his love for her. The scene then cuts to them in their past life. We learn that they’ve been close since they were kids and over the course of time developed feelings. Hong-jo in her past life has the ability to know someone’s future while Shin-yu is the son of the governor. They both fall in love.
