Only Murders in the Building Season 3 Episode 7 Recap and Review

Only Murders in the Building Season 3 Episode 7 brings the show on track and, we almost feel that the trio not working together contributes to them making more progress this time around, than having them look at the case together. The notion of divergent thinking is really making a show this season.

As seen in the last episode, our three murder-mystery enthusiasts have parted ways, and some are better off than others. For instance, Mabel is doing well- she is leaving Arconia, getting more information about Ben’s murder and is on the way to revive the podcast and restart the investigation into Ben’s murder. Oliver too is on his lucky toe to finally have found the replacement for Ben after some torturous interviews.

The only one who is finding it hard is Charles and it shows. However, even on his own, he ends up discovering valuable things. Charles is clearly not happy with the split and craves for Oliver’s friendship now more than ever. In this process, he talks to Uma Heller and discovers that she is the one who has picked Ben’s handkerchief out of her kleptomanic behaviour. Charles is ready to deliver Oliver and Mabel with this clue in the episode.

Meanwhile, Only Murders in the Building Season 3 Episode 7 shows us progress on the case from Mabel’s point of view too. She gets to know about Dickie- Ben’s brother, who has motives of jealousy and anger to be on the suspects’ list. On the other hand, Dickie gives her another suspect- Gregg, Ben’s stalker who can also be involved in this.

With new clues in her hand, Mabel moves forward with the investigation and revamps to start her podcast again with Theo and Tolbert this time. Speaking of old clues, Loretta and her dairy is still there to be brought to light by Oliver.

Only Murders in the Building Season 3 Episode 7: Final Thoughts

Only Murders in the Building Season 3 Episode 7 was quite fun and informative. The show is heading in the right direction and there were a lot of revelations, particularly in this episode that left us dumb-founded. Individual differences and where one can head next with what we have at hand is also pretty clear at this point. Although the show did have a lot of deviation on the way, season three is truly giving us all of it through this episode and, hopefully, the next ones too.
