My Lovely Liar Episode 14 reactions (소용없어 거짓말) are rolling out on X (formerly Twitter), stating the show’s viewers’ astonished responses after the newest episode’s explosive plot twist. Having aired on tvN on September 12, 2023, this episode, before the finale week, has already cleared up the air around the series’ underlying murder mystery. The drama series written by Seo Jeong-eu, and directed by Nam Sung-woo stars Kim So-hyun and Hwang Min-hyun in lead roles, and their characters of Mok Sol-hee and Kim Do-ha became instant favourites, that too just after the first few broadcasts.
With each new episode, the series has worked hard to resolve the mystery at hand, and untangle the complex storyline surrounding Do-ha’s character, who was perturbed the most through this entire ordeal. Dots have been joined and the truth behind Eom-ji’s disappearance and possible murder case can now be wrapped up as the perpetrator himself came forward with the deadly confession. Over the time, the show has also simultaneously dedicated its runtime to fully flesh out Do-ha and Sol-hee’s affectionate relationship, which has given way to one of the most-cherished and healthy onscreen representations of trust and support.
The Korean series first premiered on July 31, 2023, and has been airing on tvN every Monday and Tuesday at 20:50 KST. It is also available for streaming on Viki and Viu in select regions. The supporting cast of the show includes Seo Ji-hoon as Lee Kang-min, a detective, Yoon Ji-on as Deuk-chan, the CEO of J Entertainment and Lee Si-woo as Syaon, a top solo singer.
The show’s plot mainly revolves around So-hyun who plays Mok Sol-hee, a woman with super-abilities allowing her to hear other people’s lies. As for Min-hyun, he plays Kim Do-ha a famous composer who is also a murder suspect. In order to stay out of the public eye, he changes his name. His stage name is known to be “K”.

Episode 14 finally let the cat out of the bag as Deuk-chan, played by Yoon Ji-on, outed his true feelings for Do-ha. In a conversation with Sol-hee, he opened up about his feelings for Do-ha while also urging her not to speak a word about it to him. However, Do-ha hears it all on the other side, with the scene further revealing the J Entertainment CEO as Eom-ji’s actual killer. While this exchange had many viewers gasping out of surprised excitement, some others claimed that they saw it coming, owing to their memories of one of the previous scenes wherein Deuk-chan congratulated Do-ha and Sol-hee on their relationship, but his words came out as a lie, as detected by Sol-hee.
Some other netizens had also previously noted similar theories on their X accounts, and were more than overjoyed to see their deduction being proved right. Episode 15’s preview brings on more cute moments between the fan-favourite onscreen couple as Sol-he calls Do-ha “oppa” for the first time, and to cut our words short, their characters weren’t the only ones squealing out of elation. The most recent episode also pushed Sol-hee in harm’s way as an explosion in her vicinity caused her ears to go numb in the moment.
Although it hasn’t been revealed if her hearing loss is a permanent impairment or not, viewers are heavily counting on it being temporary as they too have come to appreciate her newfound acceptance of her abilities, which she’s for so long considered to be a curse in her life.
