The Wheel of Time Season 2 Episode 2 Ending Explained

In The Wheel of Time Season 2 Episode 2 ending, we see that Nynaeve overhears Egwane and Elayne Trakand (a new recruit channeler) talking. In the conversation, Egwane confesses how she feels about Nynave always being the one preferred or asked for, as she continues to study and respect the ways of the Aes Sedai. Nynaeve is hurt by this and heads to her room. Elayne finishes the conversation with Egwane where the former lets the latter know that jealousy is not the path that looks good on her.

Nynaeve is later approached by Liandran while she is sitting in her room. The Red Ajah takes her to the other sisters where they decide to send Nynaeve through the Arches- a ceremony compulsory to be accepted.

Meanwhile, Lan and Moiraine have a fallout. Moiraine is stern with Lan, impressing on him that the two have never been equals and now can part ways as Moiraine has lost her power. She also lets him know that Rand is alive and her loyalty lies only with the Dragon Reborn and, thus, has hidden the information. Additionally, she reveals how The Forsaken have come back. Although Lan protests, Moiraine lets him know that her decision is final and Alanna and her warders are going to take him away so his bond with Moiraine can be severed.

The Wheel of Time Season 2 Episode 2’s ending shows Perrin being taken away by the masked men we had seen at the end of the last season and the village where he and the soldiers were staying being destroyed. A fight enrages the entire village and bloodshed takes place. Everyone is captured and the next day we see the Dark One arrive beside the Seanchan people (the fleet from last season).

The last moments show us Rand getting access to work with Logain Ablar- the man who claimed to be The Dragon Reborn in the last season and was later gentled.
