NCT 2023, TWICE Jihyo’s solo debut, aespa’s first English single and sundry musical projects decked the August lineup, but now it’s time to move on to the Kpop comebacks in September 2023, that promise yet another blessed schedule of musical drops that we won’t be able to turn away from. Big groups like SEVENTEEN brought about the release of some Japanese albums, and the same can be expected from some other artist in this upcoming month as well.
From BTS’ V to SM Entertainment’s new boy group and Mnet’s Queendom Puzzle Winners coming together to form a new super girl group, many such debut projects also have some new faces and combinations in store with us. But that’s not all special collaborations and a lot more is ready to hand over musical ecstasy in new packaging as other projects will be revealed ahead as we further dive into the next month of the year.
Kpop Debuts September 2023
RIIZE 1st Single Album Get a Guitar
Date: September 4, 2023, at 6 PM KST
Members: Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, Wonbin, Seunghan, Sohee, and Anton.
Kim Taehyung aka BTS V Solo Debut With Layover
Date: September 8, 2023, at 1 PM KST.
EL7Z UP
Formed through Queendom Puzzle, the new global girl group project EL7Z Up debut is also reportedly slated for September.
Members: H1KEY Hwiseo, woo!ah! Nana, PURPLE KISS Yuki, Lovelyz Kei, WJSN Yeoreum, Rocket Punch Yeonhee and CLC Yeeun.

SEPTEMBER 1
1. CRAVITY Pre-Release Track
The prologue track titled Cheese will drop at 1 PM KST, in turn beckoning the arrival of the group’s 6th mini album later this month.

SEPTEMBER 4
1. RIIZE Get a Guitar Album – 1st Single Album
Pre-release track videos of songs Siren and Memories already came out in August, ahead of the official RIIZE debut date. The single album and the title track music video will release in the usual 6 PM KST time slot.
2. BOYNEXTDOOR Why Album – 1st EP
Serving as the rookie boy group’s first comeback after their debut on May 30, 2023 with their single album Who!, their September return with new music will consolidate their next step in the K-pop scene as they get ready to put out their first mini album for the world to hear on the 4th at 6 PM KST.

3. Day6 Young K Letters with notes – 1st Full Album
The Day6 bassist and vocalist is all set to release his first full album after having charted on the solo path quite a few time before this. At 6 PM KST, his title song (이것밖에는 없다) MV and album will drop in September, but before that, a pre-release single will also be released from his end on August 25, 2023.
4. Kim Sejeong 1st ALBUM 문(門)
The former member of girl group gugudan and project group IOI is now set to make her much-awaited return as a soloist as a singer, breaking away from her acting streak for a while. Although she’s already released a few digital singles and mini albums previously, her upcoming comeback will mark the release of her first studio album with 11 songs, coming out at 6 PM KST.

Love Me Again and Rainy Days MVs have already been released as prologue drops, whereas the full album and Slow Dancing music video will premiere in September, and the Blue MV will be released separately after that as an epilogue on September 13, 2023.
2. Eric Nam House on a Hill Album
The eponymously titled song’s audio reveal and yet another pre-release for the song video of Don’t Leave Me Yet have already unveiled two songs from the tracklist that also includes the following tracks – Only For a Moment, I Wish I Wasn’t Me, undefined, Sink or Swim, Exist and House on a Hill (ft Em Beihold).
