Behind Your Touch Episode 2 Recap

Ye-boon tries to confirm whether she can read people’s memories by trying to touch her best friend Ok-hee’s back. When she does it, she experiences nothing, making it hard for her to conclude whether she saw Jang-yeol’s past or not. The next day, many clients bring in their pets like cats and dogs, and eventually Bong’s animal hospital cash register gets filled.

Ye-boon solves all the animals’ problems by simply touching their rear and figuring out the causes. Since nobody knows how she’s doing it, there isn’t any peril around her—as of now. To make her hospital look famous, she requests Ok-hee to get her 10 clients and she does just that. The next day, Ye-boon comes across a handsome client, Sun-woo, who brings in a stray kitten. Ye-boon shamelessly flirts with him and learns that he works in the nearby convenience store.

Meanwhile, Jang-yeol who previously got a hint from his colleague about a drug dealer’s interference at Mujin, starts his search to find evidence. He pulls in Dok-hee and tests out almost all white-like powder substances at places including rat poison. Jang-yeol gets confronted by Detective Jang-mook who requests him to not get them all into trouble.

One night the same cow owner comes and requests Ye-boon to check up on his livestock. At the farm, they both exchange details about the new power they’ve got. Apparently, the owner can also read people’s memories if he touches their leg. He also states that he experiences severe hair loss due to the power. This makes Ye-boon panic and close her clinic since she doesn’t want people to see the future bald her.

Her aunt decides to send her off to a fish farm so she can clear her mind off and restart the clinic. Unaware of her aunt’s plan, Ye-boon falls prey and ends up getting stuck at a flatfish farm where she works along with a team of young Vets who inject vaccine for fishes. She meets her college junior Jong-hyeok over there and feels comfortable.

Jang-yeol believes that the fish farm is the drug hideout and captures a photo of the owner tasting a white substance. The next day, Jang-yeol forces his fellow detectives to arrest the people working there including Ye-boon. At the police station, Ye-boon covers her junior with a blanket and unintentionally touches his back. She watches a memory of him torturing a woman. Since she’s still in disbelief of her power, she remains quiet.

Jang-yeol and their team realise that the fish farm owner tasted fish food and not drugs. Jang-yeol, despite knowing that he messed up, strongly believes that Mujin is not crime-free and decides to work on other cases. The next day, Ye-boon and Sun-woo go out together to save a stray cat. An excited Ye-boon touches the cat’s rear and views its memory of a man burying something.

Meanwhile, Jang-yeol is assigned another silly case where he is asked to find the culprit who ruined a farmer’s onion crops. Jang-yeol arrests the farmer’s enemy, a pear farmer but due to lack of evidence, the case remains open. When Jang-yeol goes in search of the evidence, he spots Ye-boon digging the ground near the pear farmer’s place.

When he confronts her, he finds the pesticide bottles that were buried and understands the pear farmer hid it there. Jang-yeol asks Ye-boon about how she found it and she tells him about her psychic powers. Jang-yeol doesn’t buy her story and asks her to leave. At Ok-hee’s place, Ye-boon notices the hip-padding and realises that she didn’t read her friend’s memory since she was wearing it. Ye-boon once again touches Ok-hee’s back and watches her memories and verifies it to Ok-hee. This is when it strikes that her junior is indeed a big threat.

At the end the viewers are shown a young girl escaping from a place before a man grabs her body and drags it around. He is none other than Ye-boon’s junior Jong-hyeok.

Behind Your Touch Episode 2 Review

Suho fits the soft character of Sun-woo perfectly. The way Han Ji-min acts flirtatiously to him shows how eminent her acting skills are. She rapidly goes from a serious Vet to a clumsy young adult, proving she’s a pro. The storyline is getting interesting since a killer is on the loose. Though he is not the main villain of the series, his role kickstarts the thriller aspect of the drama.

Lee Min-ki is naturally hilarious with his witty nature. The chemistry he has with Han Ji-min is sparkling despite the fact they’re currently enemies in the series. In the upcoming episodes, the duo will start their mission as well as their romance.
