Happy Birthday Dulquer Salmaan! Mollywood’s heartthrob Dulquer is turning 36 today and we can’t resist wishing the best for him. When he started his career with the Movie, Second Show, at the age of 28, he proved to the world his excellent wit and wild acting attitude. Right after his first flick’s hit, he dropped another blockbuster Ustad Hotel. From then on, the handsome actor has been feeding the audience some mega hits where his charming personality simply overflows.

On his birthday, why not celebrate his acting excellence by streaming some of his best movies (every one of his films are great) and cherish the actor? Let’s get ahead and check out some of Dulquer Salmaan’s best movies to watch with our loved ones.

10 Best Movies of Dulquer Salmaan

Charlie – 2015

If a movie can be aesthetically pleasing and extremely heartwarming then Dulquer Salmaan’s Charlie would top the list. Be it the artistic cinematography, the stunning locations, or the unique plot line of the flick, Dulquer’s eminent acting adds more glory. He explores the movie, acting as an intrinsic artist who paints the town and leaves a story behind. This movie is truly a masterpiece for those who are lovers of painters like Vincent Van Gogh.

Chup: Revenge of the Artist – 2022

Dulquer Salmaan shocked the viewers with his serial killer avatar. A die-hard fan of a director (whose life was tormented by poor reviews) decides to murder critics if they publish reviews that aren’t factual. When his girlfriend, a critic, posts an unfair review, his moves become chilling. Watching Dulquer act so romantically yet go around killing people mercilessly (gore ways), shows how quickly he can shift his personality in a movie.

Sita Raman – 2022

Of course, the tearjerker of the century, Sita Raman has to be on this list, right? When an orphan lieutenant falls in love with Princess Noor Jahan, their tale of love, loaded with sacrifices starts. The art of wailing and yearning for one’s other half is portrayed so well by Dulquer Salmaan that the viewers always find it hard to recover from the sting of pain this movie causes when one watches it.

Bangalore Days – 2014

If only we all can get a cousin like Dulquer Salmaan from the flick Bangalore Days, our life would be complete. Starring alongside Nazriya Nazim, Nivin Pauly, Fahadh Fazil, and other big actors, the joy this movie brings is immense. The goofy Dulquer’s character makes one go deep into the flick and live the life of the cousins having their best time in Bangalore which awaits a big adventure.

OK Kanmani – 2015

When Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menon dropped this rom-com, written and directed by the love guru of Tamilnadu, director Mani Ratnam, nobody was able to handle it. Living together relationships, to date, is a big taboo. To break it and show its beauty, OK Kanmani had the right actors and the best possible script to convince how amazing two souls building each other without the concept of marriage would be.

One can surely say that it is from this particular movie, Dulquer Salmaan was termed as the heartthrob of South India because damn, the way he conveys his romantic dialogues and his lovey-dovey eyes would make one’s heart melt.

Ustad Hotel – 2012

Dulquer Salmaan gave a blockbuster hit with his second movie, Ustad Hotel where he acts as Faisi, a guy who visits his grandfather’s restaurant with aspirations. If you’re a lover of food and drool looking at delicious items, then this movie won’t fail to impress you. Dulquer perfectly nails his role as a chef that’s born not only to fill the tummies of people but their hearts. This movie has a lot to educate young people.

Kammatipaadam – 2016

Here’s another movie that shows the versatility of the actor. As we all know, Dulquer Salmaan is well-known for being the man who makes people’s hearts flutter. Nevertheless, he can offer more. In the movie Kammatipaadam, his dynamic acting is well-read through the character of Krishnan.

Speaking of the plot, when Krishnan gets a call from his childhood friend Ganga, he returns to his native land and that’s when his unexpected journey starts. Honestly, the movie became one of the best cult classics, thanks to Dulquer’s fierce demeanor.

Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal – 2020

Having a life partner with the same trait is quite amazing. Dulquer Salmaan however took the former statement seriously. When a scammer meets a woman and dives in love, little does he expect she’s a scammer too. When both the scammers fall head over heels, their mischievous habits pop out. Dulquer’s comedic nature has to be applauded because he’s just so good at everything. Also who styles him up? They need a big raise for dolling up the stunning actor.

Salute – 2022

In Salute, Dulquer Salmaan acts as a police offer who returns to unravel a mystery. Once again, the M-Town’s young actor proved that he can ace any role. He wonderfully executed the agony of the cop who’s trying to fix the pieces. Also, since he is stout and has his physical fitness perfectly maintained, the birthday pal best fitted this character. As a fan of action thrillers, watching Dulquer beat the bad guys gave me goosebumps.

Kurup – 2021

Kurup is legit the opposite of the movie that we mentioned above. Over here, Dulquer acts as a criminal on the run (yep, running from a cop). Based on the murder case of 1984, the movie became one of the highest-grossed Malayalam flicks. Contrary to his responsible police character, Dulquer showed how a criminal’s actions will be especially when he is a cunning greedy man. It takes a huge effort to act in the role of a real-life character who ruined lives. Big kudos for that!

Happy Birthday Dulquer Salmaan

We once again wish Dulquer, a happy birthday and glorious success. On this day, let’s support the wonderful artist by showing some love to his upcoming new movie, King of Kotha. Feel free to drop your wishes for the actor in the comment section.
